Leadership and Sponsorship
A shift in behaviour, not a workstream to complete.
Endorsing the change
Visibly modelling it
Why it comes in when it does
Sponsor behavioural modelling has to be established before the first wave goes live. It cannot be corrected after go-live without significant cultural cost.
In practice
Executive sponsors are scored on coalition influence, behavioural commitment and visibility modelling. The first governance meeting after go-live is the most culturally formative moment of the programme, so it is deliberately watched and measured rather than left to chance. When a sponsor's modelling score drops, a replacement takes on visible responsibility before the next gate.
What it looks like when it is missing
Instruments it leans on
The platform assigns each of the 26 instruments to one capability as its lead and one as its supporting capability. This is where this capability sits.
See all 26 on the instruments page.
Works with
It is read together with these capabilities, because the signals only mean something in combination.
The kit measures and governs, and none of it forecasts an outcome. See all eight capabilities.
